Don’t let her soft-spoken personality and Southern charm fool you. Wanda Martin-Davis is a consummate professional and is tenacious when it comes to serving the best interests of her clients. 

Experience and Expertise:

Wanda began her real estate career in rental and property management, obtaining her real estate license in 1979. She transitioned into sales and joined Treasure Realty in 2009. Her growing success allowed her to add an agent to her team, Teresa Toney. This partnership, with complimenting areas of expertise, created a real estate powerhouse to fully meet her client’s needs in the greater Topsail area. 
 
A highly qualified Real Estate Agent who is consistently recognized in the industry with top sales awards, Wanda has earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, which is the highest credential awarded to residential agents. She is also an Accredited Buyer's Representative. She maintains a strong relationship with custom builders, which helps Wanda and her team assist clients who prefer to purchase land and build their own homes. 
 

Knowledge-Based Considerations:

Buying property in the Topsail Island area comes with extra considerations. Whether it’s an investment property, a year-round home; commercial or residential – on the island or the mainland - it involves an understanding of the issues related to our area, including the beach, dunes, wetlands; and other environmental considerations like the use of living shorelines. Topics such as flood insurance, setbacks, building codes, conforming and nonconforming lots, etc. are all second nature to Wanda. She is excited to share this knowledge to help her clients in the buying and selling process.
 
First-time homebuyers hold a special spot in her heart. She encourages them to buy instead of paying rent and helps them find the right home for them. She also encourages members of the military to keep their home as investment property when they are transferred to other duty stations. Valuable Relationships:

Trust, confidence, and strong relationships are important to Wanda. Throughout the years, she has developed lasting friendships with her clients, built on trust and their belief in her advice and expertise. She keeps in touch with her past clients and is grateful for their continued referrals. Her knowledge of the area and her honesty are the foundation of her strong client relationships. She says, “I won’t sell something just to make the sale, if I don’t think it’s the right fit. I help clients think about things maybe they hadn’t thought about and make sure they are considering all their options.”
 
Wanda says that her work is rewarding, and she loves the people she helps. She is eager to share all she knows about the area, including its history and all that it has to offer. Wanda has lived in the greater Topsail area since she was in the first grade and still owns that first house. Her husband grew up in this area as well, and most of her family still lives here. She says excitedly, “I love where I live. I’ve never had to buy frozen seafood. I’ve never had to drive more than five minutes to get to the beach.”
 
Treasure Realty is also “really like a family.” She explains that “we have trust among our agents. We have such good agents that we can lean on each other for knowledge. It’s good to be able to bounce ideas off each other, we have a good group of trusted people here.” 
 
With her trademark smile, Wanda states: “I’m in it for the long haul. I want people to be happy like I’m happy. I will lead them in the right direction.”
