Get to Know Me

Rachel Eyster has been with the Treasure Team since 2016, starting as the corporate bookkeeper. It was working on Saturdays taking reservations in the rental department and answering phones in the sales department when she found an interest in real estate. Now, the Director of Business Development for Better Homes and Gardens Treasure, she takes pride in being part of a brokerage she truly believes in, one that profoundly cares about people. She also thrives on working alongside colleagues she is deeply connected to, folks she genuinely trusts.
 
Attention to Detail and a Desire to Keep Learning
One to flourish on working with others who have the same goals in a team environment, Rachel loves to alleviate any potential stress to ensure a smooth process for the company’s agents and clients. From assisting in sales to absorbing the responsibilities as Broker In Charge of vacation rentals, she has proven her malleability in the industry. She enjoys the versatility of real estate and how no two days are alike. Her goal is to maximize productivity to set the brokerage and the people in it up for major success by doing extensive research and never losing focus on the vital elements of the business.
 
A factor of Rachel’s success is due to her attention to detail regarding compliance to rules and regulations, and she loves to be a “trusted local expert.” Her passion is fed by figuring out puzzles and her ability and desire to provide factual and accurate answers to questions that will alleviate stressors in the office. Her incessant craving to learn is unending. Within two years, she graduated from college, earned her real estate license, and received her MBA from UNC Pembroke. She is also a North Carolina Notary Public and a North Carolina Real Estate Education Provider. Her startup real estate school, Rising Tides Real Estate Academy, offers mandatory update courses. She also hopes to add pre-licensing, post-licensing, and elective courses in the future.
 
She and her husband, Greg, appreciate spending time on Topsail Island inhaling the salt air, boating, and recharging at the beach. They like to visit new breweries, bars, and restaurants on and around Topsail Island and in Wilmington. Together they have the most fun hanging out with their cocker spaniel, Angus, and their mini-dachshund, Lambeau.
